How I Love the Scripture’s Stories Song for Children

Download the MP3 file so you can practice writing your own lyrics!:

This song is written for the expressed purpose of encouraging children to learn, know, and come to love the stories found throughout the scriptures. I am hoping children all over the world will write verses of their own. My intention is for the first and last verses to be sung as written, and the lyrics for the middle verses to be written by them. I have written several “sample” verses representing scripture stories that are meaningful to me. For those interested in a Bible-only version, the names “Abraham” or “Joshua” can be substituted for “Nephi.” You can download the music (MP3) and the music (PDF) at sleuthmusic.com so you can listen and create. I would love for anyone who is interested to send other verse lyrics to sleuthmusic@gmail.com!
