Bach originally wrote his Inventions as practice material for his keyboard students, each in different keys. Invention Number 8 (BWV 779) is in the key of F. These arrangements are duets for A) Two Celli, B) Cello and Contrabass, and C) Two Contrabass. Using other bass instruments would also be possible.
